The primary goal of the Holy Cross School Community is to announce the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Holy Cross Catholic School creates an atmosphere in which students develop the values, attitudes and skills that will enable them to become vital members of school, parish and societal communities. The school community, together with the family, shares the Church’s mission to motivate students to consciously direct their lives according to Christ-oriented values.

The faculty/staff and administration will maintain a standard of excellence through programs which provide for the spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional and physical growth of each child.

 Our Teaching Philosophy

Holy Cross students learn by doing
We take a holistic approach to education, seeking to assist our students  in their spiritual, social, academic, emotional and physical growth. We believe that children acquire deep understanding by doing, and therefore we focus on providing a rich array of hands-on activities and field trips to supplement our curriculum.

We are committed to finding the teaching style that best fits each child's ability to learn. Our entire faculty has been trained in the Orton-Gillingham Method, which takes a multi-sensory approach to teaching: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic.

 Our Faculty and Staff

All members of our staff are VIRTUS trained and E-apps approved, and have religious certification through the Diocese of Green Bay. Our faculty members are fully degreed, and are certified through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and the WRISA. In addition, among our faculty are six supportive consultants, who are trained to identify students who are gifted and students struggle with learning or behavioral challenges, so that we can find a teaching approach best suited to their needs.

"I decided I wanted to teach music my sophomore year of high school because of my amazing high school band director. He was a great motivator and always encouraged me to reach beyond my goals and shoot for the stars. He influenced me in such a positive way, I realized that I wanted to have the same effect on students as well. I want to be able to build a program that positively influences students and assists them in developing strong relationships with their peers."
