Ss. Joachim and Anne

Mission Statement
The mission of Ss. Joachim and Anne Catholic School, founded in 1924 in Queens Village, New York, is to provide a Christ-centered learning place which fosters intellectual development in an environment of love, justice, and peace.
We offer a total challenging learning experience that incorporates both self-contained and departmental instruction in a heterogeneous class setting.
Each student's image of self is achieved in a positive manner through prayer and persistent fostering of respect for human dignity, values, and morals.
In our African American, Latino, Guyanese community, each child will develop his own maximum potential necessary to become a valuable productive contributor in society, with an ultimate goal to love God above all and our neighbors as ourselves.
Vision Statement
Ss. Joachim and Anne is a Catholic Elementary Parish School which provides a challenging educational experience to develop the whole child spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.  Through maximizing their potential, they will become moral, social, and global citizens.  In our safe multicultural setting, they will learn and show respect and compassion for one another.

Ss. Joachim and Anne enjoys the support of its pastor, priests, parents, students, advisory board, faculty, administration, staff, alumni, benefactors, and area schools provide a lasting legacy in the Notre Dame Tradition.
